If you’re looking to build strength, our strength training courses are here to help you reach your goals. Whether you’re just starting out or have experience, 747Fitness offers courses for all levels — from beginners to advanced.
Our expert trainers focus on teaching you the correct technique, helping you build muscle, and boosting your overall strength. In our gym, you’ll receive the guidance needed to perform exercises safely and effectively, with personalised support throughout your journey.
Each course is led by a qualified strength coach, who will design a program tailored to your specific needs and goals. You’ll receive ongoing support to ensure you’re progressing with confidence and correct form. Whether your goal is building muscle, getting stronger for sport or simply feeling capable in everyday life, your program is written to match it.
Sessions start with a purposeful warm-up and movement prep, move into your main compound lifts — squat, deadlift, press or row — then finish with accessory work and conditioning. Loads and volume are adjusted for your level, so a first-timer and an experienced lifter can train in the same class and both be challenged appropriately.
Strength training does far more than add weight to a barbell. It improves bone density, supports joint health, protects your back, lifts your metabolism and makes everyday tasks — carrying shopping, lifting kids, climbing stairs — noticeably easier. Members regularly tell us they sleep better and feel more confident within weeks of starting.
We record your key lifts so progress is never a guess. Reviewing your numbers with your coach makes it easy to see what’s working, when to add weight and when to back off — which is exactly why members who train with us consistently keep getting stronger instead of plateauing.
Not at all. Our strength courses run from complete beginner through to advanced, and your coach will place you at the right starting point. Beginners spend their first sessions learning the movement patterns with light loads before progressing.
Two to three strength sessions per week is ideal for most people and is enough to build noticeable muscle and strength. Advanced lifters chasing specific goals may train four or more times a week under a coach’s guidance.
Most members feel stronger and move better within two to three weeks, with visible changes in muscle tone and body composition typically appearing between weeks six and twelve of consistent training.
A strength class gives you a structured program, a qualified coach watching your technique and a group training around you. Instead of guessing what to do, you follow a plan that progresses logically — which is why results come faster than training alone.
Yes. Supervised strength training is one of the most beneficial forms of exercise for older adults, supporting bone density, balance, joint health and independence. Loads and exercise selection are always scaled to the individual.
Definitely. Many members pair two strength sessions with boxing, HIIT or their own running. Just let your coach know your weekly schedule so your program balances the total load and leaves room for recovery.
Yes — our strength classes are mixed and a large number of our members are women. Programs are individualised, so your training is based on your goals and current ability rather than a one-size-fits-all template.
