Kosta Drakoulakos

Hi I’m Kosta and I’m the founder and owner of 747Fitness.

Health and fitness have always been a major part of my life, I have participated in many sports including Soccer, Cricket, Football and I have studied various styles of Martial Arts.
My passion for personal training is derived from my love of martial arts. When I was 14, while training boxing I wanted to enhance my knowledge and skills in martial arts so I also undertook Muay Thai and Kickboxing training. In 2007 I began fighting in amateur kickboxing. In 2010 I turned professional and participated in 8 professional kickboxing fights. The highlight of my professional career was winning the IKBF JNR Middleweight K-1 Kickboxing Victoria Championship.

I aspire to pass my knowledge of martial arts onto my students, and to teach them how to use it appropriately. Aside from Martial Arts I am also a Strength & Conditioning coach. I physically prepare amateur and professional athletes by improving their strength, speed, power, endurance, flexibility and agility while considering their individuals goals and the needs of their chosen sport.

747 delivers competitive memberships, group training, personal training, event preparation, transformations, boot camps, and club strength & conditioning programs.

Hi I'mYohana and I'm the yoga instructor for 747Fitness. I am passionate about my love for yoga and it’s benefits, both physically and mentally. As both a qualified swim and yoga instructor, I am very attuned to creating a safe and nurturing environment which enables people to develop their skills. In particular, I am experienced at adapting and delivering lessons across a broad range of participants of varying abilities and experience.

I have lived and travelled widely across Asia and Europe, learning about a variety of different styles and techniques along the way. One of my biggest passions outside yoga is Latin dance which helps me to incorporate a beautiful flow and rhythm to my lessons when mixed with Vinyasa style yoga. I have a keen eye for body alignment which along with my passion to inspire everyone in my classes, means people leave feeling energised, challenged and centred.

Hey my name is Rohan and I’m the jnr athlete development coach at 747 Fitness working with kids from 8 to 18 to improve their sporting performance. Sports has always been a passion of mine. Growing up, I would participate in every sport event although my main interest was in football. I have been with 747 since 2015, when Kosta was training my team. Kosta also took me in for rehabilitation for my knee injury and since then I have had no issues.

As the years went on I had gained a lot of knowledge by Kosta in the fitness industry focusing on junior development (improving running form, acceleration, strength jumping higher & movement) and how trainings were structured. My passion grew more during my week of work experience here at 747 Fitness in 2017. Now my main focus is to help junior athletes with becoming faster, stronger and more explosive, and most importantly being injury free!
